Thank you for the 34 years of being My Grandad

Created by Joanne 3 years ago

I'm sure that nobody else's Grandad sings as much as ours did, everything was a song or a daadidaa or if it wasn't a song it was a joke. However I also had lovely conversations and advice as I got older.

I have endless amounts of memories so he's just a few. Playing with my cousins at your Stretford home on the street in the yard or on the back field. Parties where Grandma's speciality was her triffle and yours was just being you. The kelloggs cereal that we got in abundance  (who ever got to your house first had the best pick)

Then you gave us the pleasure of Fleetwood with caravan visits and holidays then came the big move to your lovely Fleetwood home where lots more memories were made of family together taking in the seaside air and the chilled lifestyle.

Every single Christmas the video camera would be set up recording us eat and sing (until they were outdated) Every birthday you would pull our hair, then we got you back when you grew yours!

One of the latter conversations with you was you telling me off for drinking Jack Daniels as that's not real whisky so we agreed I'd have a Guinness instead, so today Grandad this Guinness is for you ❤

You will be loved and remembered forever
